Rather than passing these savings on to consumers, they opted to raise prices, increasing their profits and paying off their huge debt service.

• The founders of Trust Family investigated the funeral industry to see what alternatives were available outside of the public companies. Trust Family found that by joining forces, the independents could gain the same efficiencies and financial benefits of the conglomerates while reducing costs to consumers and remaining independent…and the concept of Trust Family was born.
